Insight was established from a simple conviction: psychologists learn best through thoughtful supervision, serious scholarship, genuine clinical conversation, and sustained reflection on their work with patients.
Our aim is not simply to teach psychodynamic ideas, but to help clinicians develop the clinical judgement, therapeutic identity, and reflective capacity that endure long after endorsement has been achieved — clinicians with a capacity to sit with complexity, respond with confidence rather than certainty, and keep growing throughout their professional lives.
Why Insight? What Makes Us Different
Insight is intentionally different — and it isn't designed to be everything to everyone. Our programs are deliberately small, allowing meaningful discussion, reflective supervision, and close engagement with contemporary psychodynamic thinking.
We treat theory and practice as one activity; we integrate seminars, reading, supervision, and case discussion into a single, coherent educational experience — one built specifically around a psychodynamic way of understanding people – the checklist comes second.
The emphasis throughout is on developing sound clinical judgement and a confident therapeutic identity.

Insight Registrar Program (Two-Years)
The Insight Clinical Psychology Registrar Program is a two-year pathway supporting clinical psychology endorsement while fostering long-term professional growth. Weekly seminars and group supervision counting toward your 80 hours, within a coherent psychodynamic curriculum.

One-Year Insight Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program
A year of reflective professional development for psychologists, GPs, and mental health practitioners wishing to deepen their clinical thinking.

Supervision in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
Whether you are a registrar working towards endorsement or an experienced practitioner seeking ongoing supervision, our approach is relational and reflective, grounded throughout in contemporary psychodynamic thinking, whatever your primary theoretical orientation.
What the Insight Registrar Program Covers
Insight provides the group supervision and continuing professional development components of your registrar program, within a single coherent psychodynamic curriculum, in person or online.
A registrar following the Master's pathway needs 3,000 hours of practice, 80 hours of supervision, and 80 hours of active CPD. We cover the teaching and group supervision; you arrange the remaining individual supervision, with us or with a supervisor of your choosing.

Four terms of eight weeks each year across two years. Enough continuity that a case can be followed as it unfolds, rather than caught up on.

The Board permits up to a third of supervision to be completed in small groups.
